Description

This stage leads from the ski center of Lailias mountain down to Ano Vrontou plateau. The route is on a dirt road, shaded by beautiful forests and with plenty of waters. There are also nice views of the mountains on the east.

Amenities

Ano Vrontou has a couple of tavernas. There is is also a hostel 5km outside the village. Ano Vrontou is famous for potatoes and beans.

Transportation

Once a week bus to Serres (23210 - 22822). There is a better connection to Drama from Kato Vrontou.

Very few non-informative signposts and some plastic ribbons.
