Description

Follow the tarmac to Serres. Just after crossing the bridge there is a track to the right towards a pig stall, and you can pick a hard to find footpath behind it as designated on the map. This will save you a few kilometers on the road. Reaching a saddle with beautiful views of Menikio mountain on the north, turn right on a track now mostly downhill among potato fields to finish the segment in Ano Vrontou village.

Amenities

Ano Vrontou has a couple of tavernas. There is is also a hostel 5km outside the village. Ano Vrontou is famous for potatoes and beans.
